i may be wrong but you would only need to get a sva or the new aquivilant if you were to modify the the chassis or bulkhead. Im shore someone with more knowledge will answer you question in more depth though.

i dont no about cost but i know a painter in wokingham that will happily paint a car that has been preped by someone else. hes really good to but obviously your prep would have to be great as already said. his bodyshop is called imagination creations. you might have herd of it? he is going to let me hire his paint booth when im ready to paint my escort myself.

they just have two small plastic ball socket type clips. Try getting a flat peice of stiff plastic in the gap to try and pry it out.

Ive been trying to take the doors off of my mk2. got one off with my bosses pin removal tool but cant budge the the other side, think ill fill it up with wd40 and give it a try in a couple of days.

how about nissan 200sx sr20 engine. youve already got experiance with the engine in your pulsar and its fairly cheap to buy and already comes with a rwd gearbox. Im planning to fit one in my mk2 escort estate. Or you could fit a supra or skyline 6 pot in the capper.

It is very solid. its got a small hole in the O/S outer sill, one in the corner of the boot floor and a couple of small holes in the driverside foot well. Im going to replace both front floorpans as they have been patched before and i want to tidy it up and make it look neater. Its got a pinto in it but im on a budget and i can get more power cheaper from a different engine. if i had an unlimited budget id go all out on the pinto. i could get it on the road in a couple of weeks but going to take my time and make it as nice as i can.
