I'm a glazer and window fitter, what's the issue?

Does anybody know of a good bodyshop willing to take on panel beating etc on my mk1 escy in the Colchester area? I know a couple but I've been to them and asked, they say they'll call but never do?

I've done this and I whole heartedly agree! Great staff, great facilities and a great day out. Can't recommend them enough.

Does anyone know how to interperet foreign chassis numbers for instance mine is South African with AAPV before the numbers?

Car is a green 2 door 100e with just under 30k miles from new with every receipt / MOT to go with it. Huge folder with old tax discs, receipts, services, MOT's, even letters sent from to and from original owner to ford in Dagenham explaining things such as delays due to strikes and stock issues regarding prop shafts. The car is partly disassembled but wouldn't take long to reassemble. Hasn't ran in just over a year but before it ran sweet with no issues. The car currently has 2" lowering blocks on the back with Gaz shocks, I had 2" shorter front springs made and its sitting on banded steels (lotus style). All original parts are kept and in good condition. Bodywork is solid with no rot but will need paint. All glass is removed but is in good condition. I'm after around £1950 for the lot - would make a beautiful original concourse car and id love to keep it but my escort is taking priority. Havnt got many pics but there's a few before I took it apart and a rubbishy pic of its current state.

There's a guy on the bay (item no. 231238422735) selling Tarmac spec leafs that according to the description fit straight on, anyone got any experience of these?

Do the mk2 hangers mate right up or do you need to modify the hanger/mount? And can you still use the same bushes?
