  3. Got a dwell meter of ebay for a fiver. Set the points with it today and now have a sweet running engine. Nice
  4. They are Capri Laser wheels I reckon, not RS alloys.
  5. As a Scot who read your post and this post I did not find any offence with it. I dont take any issue either as we all have something to celebrate somewhere along the line. Generally we Scots celebrate being pish at everything except curling. Haha anyhow good on you for speaking your mind to the bloke.....

    rs 7.5 wheels

Sorry thought you were looking for them. If you have them then you'll get a lot but I'd keep them till recession picks up and people have more money etc.....

    rs 7.5 wheels

First you need to find a set for sale and expect to pay over £1000 for 4 never mind 5. Very rare to get genuine ones.

    TREES....

Holly Feck, thats a big crane. Bet that cost more than the trees!!
  10. BLUEmin too much money. Nice motors.
  11. The official advertising labelled them as buy what you like from off the shelf bolt on kits. Included arch kits, wheels, twin 40's 45's, Grp 4 Air Filter and various other Grp 4 equipment including suspension etc. If I remember right the brochure said that you bought what you liked and made it your choice. That would tend to suggest that none of them were actually made as x-pack more a car with after market parts, as we know capri, fiesta, granada and escort came with additional x-pack parts. I may well be wrong but I've never saw an actual complete car x-pack new price list from the many original Ford retail lists I've read in various magazines.
  12. How can any girl not be good at it? Bet if she was doing it to you it would be good??

    Numpty..

Rub it in!! Mines is £121 for 6 fecking months and cant tax it before Friday. ouch
  14. Nice rims on a nice shiny motor.
  15. Mines are from DMB graphics and have been spot on. No issues with polishing etc and only stick out 'baw hairs'.
  16. Mines are stickers without the laquer and are fine.
  17. I posted a moan a few months back about a bad experience trying to get my inner spots re-furbed. Anyhow, I checked out a youtube guide (American cars)of splitting glass lens from the body of the headlight and thought I'd give it a try. Heat the oven to 200 and strip the rubber backing off the light and place full unit inside the oven for 10-12 minutes. Take it out and using a small flat bed screw driver or small seal pick gently prize the lens and it will come away. Be carefull as it will be very hot and fragile. I then lightly sanded the areas of corrosion and masked the areas only that needed painting. I used chrome paint and the finish was good. I then used plenty of solvent based 'No Nails' or a similar strong glue and stuck the lens back on. I done a further 2 lights using the same method. They have turned out very well. Worth a try to anybody whose lights are needing a facelift!! I would say that its an easy job.
  18. Nice car, and sounds like a strong wee following for the old skool.......
  19. Were you bored? Haha, interesting figures indeed. I bought my RS2000 in 1999 for £1400, genuine but in need of huge restoration. Perhaps I paid over the odds but it was the car for me back then. Still got it today and probably worth what you say to the right buyer if I ever sell it.
  20. Great pics and nice to share them as well. Always good to see original pics.
