2009 classic ford show 2010 getting my escort back on the road with a few more bhp & getting along to some meets

i have run 2.8 calipers with vented discs & 5.5j lotus rims but on capri struts. Maybe the position of the caliper is different on the cortina strut,some of the willwood calipers will only fit on certain wheels even though they are stated to fit 13" wheels. I was looking at some but you had to run them with 7jX13 wheels & as i was running 5.5j4spokes they would'nt fit. Ive heard of the lotus steals with the bigger rivetts on the inside of the wheel hitting the caliper? Sorry can't help any more than though

why bolt a turbo to it while you are at it Sounds good though & a proper budget build is always good to see

im going to use a 2wd 3" down pipe on mine cut about to fit then a straight bit of 3" pipe with abend under the axle to a straight through box. Going to to the exhaust myself out of mild steel & the downpipe done for me as it will be in stainless

Flat post battery with about 360amps is part number 037,this will be plenty for a 2.0 pinto. The original rs2000 battery is near impossible to get.

a bloke down the road from me has converted his mk1 4door into a 2door. I put complete rear quarters on my mk1 & it would'nt of been alot of work to cut the b-pillars & move it all about,but it was already a 2 door so why mess with perfection
