ive got some 140 clocks in mine but only 7000rpm rev-counter,was told they came out of an early mex all deep dish dials. All the dials ive looked at are 8000rpm?? might part with them if you are after a set??

some pictures of my shafts,snapped both & blew my diff in 1 launch. On slicks at santa pod with 185bhp pinto,done this just launching in 1st. Twisted the ends of the shafts off I am having an atlas narrowed & built soon as its always in the back of your mind when driving your car hard "will it break" & you don't want to be worrying about that you just want to be worrying about the next bend

It will have a seperate pump run off a belt from the crank,might be a seperate belt or same belt as the alternator. The noise will of been the pump packing up. They are easily available & average out at about £100 for a fully refurbed one. Not sure how safe it would be to drive but if it was me i would get it sorted. If the pump has gone any swarf or crap in the oil will go through the rack & will damage that aswell then that will start leaking or could get stiffer. Best off lending her the capri
