the wierd thing is i dont think they realise that most of us spend all our spare time working on our cars and theyr such a big part of our lives that i know for sure that i would flip if i caught someone trying to steal my cars. im not sure if i could stop the beating turning into serious damage. best story was a guy went to look at a classic advertised in the back of classicford mag and when he turned up to buy the car there was no car and the guy tried to rob him. he got away with his money but him and some mates foned up later that week and turned up with a transit full of people. theiving scum really need to sort their ideas and morals out.

version.3 of the portsdown/ portsmouth meet is now underway on the organising front. if we can get numbers started now and try and keep peoples schedules free then we reckon we can get a very succesful, growing southern meet on the go for all us oldskoolheads. version.3 is going to be organised in conjunction with the solent-renegades yank and oldskool group. there should be lots of oldskool american cars to have a wander around aswell as new faces off this site. the usual setup will apply, meet up on portsdown for a burger, then drive down to southsea, this time to meet up with the renegades. hello mate, cheers for the comment. shame the escy didnt make it to the meet! next time ay. right heres todays progress, last day of my week off, at least its only 1 day till the weekend. then got a flapwheel out and took the back of the grill back to fit the cooler behind. then made a third bracket for the cooler... the little one below the grill mount... then stripped most of the pass side underside of the car... stitched the seams, seam sealed them all and then primered. then started to play with this..... postman delivered it this morning... figured i'd do something different and see how this works over a pinto efi manifold. love that my parents are away... house is nice and warm to work in .. .... i can see a deadline coming on..... can she be finished before the may portsmouth meet. would be nice... definitely going to be working hard towards that goal. cheers. paul

sorry jason i didnt recognise the car with the spoiler.... you found it alright then. got there before me lol. hands together to tom and mk5jph (sorry dont know all names yet) for the pics. me and rich had a chat with the solent-renegades people today and theyr comptletely cool with us meeting with them so that looks like a go-ahead. will get the dates up as soon as we know whats going on.... may seems to have the vote atm so we'l keep everyone posted. if anyone that didnt make it to the last meet but is interested in the next then give me a pm and i'l keeep you informed / send directions etc. cheers. paul

loving that. those wheels and colour suit it perfectly! you should pop along to the portsmouth meet.,... couple of other people head across from the surrey area. were thinking of doing the next one in may..... let me know if youre interested. cheers. paul

a word of advice mate.... if you get those wheels them i will steal them loving the ideas youre going for with the car... will be good to have them both out together soon.
