hi all, i've not been on here for what seems like ages ( and it is! ) i am building an anglia, but for the last few years i have been trying to find out what became of a cortina i used to own, it is a 63 mark 1, reg 526 fxt, when i owned it it was blue with a white roof, i bought it from, and later sold it back to ron harris, so i am hopeful it is still around the south london surrey area. i would love to own it again, but just to see it again would be great. i did have loads of photos of the car but cannot locate them now, i ran it with a 1700 pre crossflow made from a milled down 711m block with a pre crossflow head and 40's( i worked at sutton rebore at the time so machining was free!) ron helped me set it up and it flew! from the dvla i found it was sorned for about 10 years but it has been taxed now so hopefully someone is enjoying it. if anyone know where this car is please let me know, it would be great to just see it in the flesh!
cheers, ian quarterman.
