    This is something I really need to do. The conversion was done prior to my ownership so are we saying it should be hassle free for me? Its either that or wait a couple of years until it's tax exempt because from the replies on here that then makes it even more straight forward

    Just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons, mine has neither G or B etched into the glass

    It's very hard to tell, here is a picture of mine, you can just about distinguish the difference between the white on the outside and the white through the glass

    Are you unsure whether you have tinted glass all round or just the screen?

    As far as I'm aware it was only the side and rear glass that was tinted. My mk2 rs2000 has green tint all round except the front which is clear, admittedly the front screen has been replaced. I don't see the sense in tinting the windscreen
