  1. Send it back to gripper, they have all the spares required for a rebuild & do know exactly what they are about.
  2. Tyre pressures are a lottery, ie set up, weight of car, motorsport or road use etc etc. Start with 26 to 28 psi for road use is my suggestion (having grown up in the tyre trade and raced in many saloon based formula. Don't worry about them LOOKING flat, it's how the car rides/handles that is important. HTH
  3. looks like no markings at all. Are there any date stamps behind the spokes ? They look like they may not be a tapered nut fitting . Have you any nuts with them.?
  4. I thought it said pre 67 cars can fit ? May have been an old bulletin i read. Means all 105e 100e stuff is a go'er.
  5. It's the centre pressing that is costly, i believe. That's why weller have done theirs with lugs.
  6. Most of the cheap one end up like a pile of cigar tobacco on the car floor ? Something like this, i would go for quality every time, cos i've seen some nasties over the years.
  7. If money is no object, then the ultimate would be 190bhp. However a nice road/sprint spec on a pair of 45's would expect 155/165bhp. Just a mildly tweeked lump on 40's would be 135/145. HTH
  8. I'm pretty sure they don't make the super softs at the moment. However they launched the new R888R in Uk on Thursday at autosport show NEC. This will be rolled out in popular sizes anytime soon.

  11. Are there not too many meets now ? as they seem to get fragmented by different factions of clubs ? Or are they just a boxhill tea n toasty get together. whereas Jolly Farmers is a meet (organised do) Keep the big shows going, old fords never die .
  12. Harry Lotus steels are 5.5" wide (not 6") Depending on tyre size, you may require trimming the front edge of the front arch (for turn in )
  13. You ought to have a squint at www.105speed.com for all things anglia 105e The chap who runs it has a wealth of knowledge and spares part numbers.
  14. Depending on the right punter on any given day, i'd see it between 13 & 18 k

  16. Tax her for another six months, send it back end of sept and put it on sorn . Get 5 months back from swansea ?
  17. That sounds like a Bruce comment on the price is right !!! He always goes higher !
  18. You could get some bump stops (hard rubber) to slide over the shock . This would take out the harshness off the bottoming out and not smash the base off the damper. Secondly raise the ride height by 20mm could make all the difference . Thirdly purchase some new shorter gaz units.
  19. That looks better than a top shelf mag ! Plenty of £,blood, sweat and tears gone into that beauty.
  20. Heard good reports about a place in Crawley W SX google is your friend.

  23. Much cheaper to go and see the cars in the flesh down in leafy Surrey (straight from the film set) I am reliably informed some have been down there to have a squint, taking their special sock for good company. Mansize Kleenex for me !!!! These films are almost as real as 007 ?
  24. Have had a very reliable tip off that the remaining escorts in all there glory were collected from the film set and reside in a Surrey warehouse awaiting instruction. As true as i sit here !!!!! Loads of peeps have been talking about them, so it won't be long before the address is out in the open. Alas i was told by the owner to stay schtum.
