foggyvolki Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 Today I noticed that while my MKI mex has been parked up someone has knocked the front wing with something and taken a piece of paint off the corner of the wing. It is only down to the primer but I was really P*** off and has wrecked my day. Does anyone know if these issues can be fixed or is it a whole wing spray job? my car is sebring red and waspainted in 2 pac a few years ago. Anyhelp could either make my day worse or maybe help salvage something from it. Thanx

Rick Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 feather it out with the paper mask it up and spary it back in with primer or just paint. tcut it afterwards youl never know
Cookie Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 Touch it up with a blob of paint, get a bit of 1200 paper on a tiny block and sand it back level, bit of cutting compound to smooth it and blend it, then a good polish and gone
mk2 stu Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 Sorry lads but your all gonna hate this, I think your wrong, chips away and all smart repairers are limited to what they can and cant blow in or touch up, Depends on what paint you've got if its a solid colour you could try a smart repairer but honestly if it was me, i'd save up and get the wing painted!
