Finally got to look at the Escort today to see why she let me down on the way back from the Pod, and as i suspected leccy ign fooked it works then it stops and so on so borrowed the H&H system from the Race car and "Hey Presto" sorted

 

Now i got to get a new one for the race car

yes mate they are the nuts the one which is fooked is a Lumenition ( black) about £250 and its fooked

6 30 mate but colin, ray, jayson, mand and viv stayed with me untill it came Colin ( V6col ) said he aint leavin me on the side of the road with the car anything could happen, for that i cant thank him enough a top gezzer i also thank everyone else who stayed and stoped

they did offer to send a man but i didnt want him tampering with it mate i / we was pretty sure wot it was and he wont have the parts in an RAC van

next time carry a set of points etc then convert it back

Luminition aint all its cracked up to be is it?! Ive heard of the black box type goin wrong all the time, my m8 bought one new and had no spark, the lumintion was the last thing he suspected it to be but that was it.

 

Yet the silver box type (pushrod type and the like) has been faultless for over 3years now!!! Hmmmm.....

 

Had the good old A-Team on gaurd then think some is owed
