Admin Vista Posted April 12, 2007 Admin Report Posted April 12, 2007 Not a huge amount mate if they need seals, pistons and bleed nipples then all these cost quite a bit to source. Realistically I'd say £40 to £50 if they need all of the above, but people often pay more when you see them on eBay.
stu Posted April 12, 2007 Author Report Posted April 12, 2007 cheers mate. do they make a great diffrance? r they worth the effort
LEONMEX Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 Fitted some to my escort & not much better than the 2.8 calipers to be honest, but now i need to fit a bigger master cylinder to get the most out of them aswell.
escort new boy Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 well ill give you 30 quid if you don't want em
Admin Vista Posted April 12, 2007 Admin Report Posted April 12, 2007 cheers mate. do they make a great diffrance? r they worth the effort I overhauled mine with new seals and pistons before I fitted them, I run them on standard 2.8i vented discs and they were a definite improvement over the standard Escort ones. To get the best out of them though it's worth fitting them in conjunction with a set of 257mm discs from Rally design, you don't get any pad overhang that way.
escort21 Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 I stuck mine on without rebuilding them and use standard mk2 tina discs and standard princess pads...braking was massively improved compared to standard
