 Yesterday morning some twit let his son reverse his tipper van while he popped into the shop. Only problem was he got it wrong and scrapped along the top of the capris n/s wing. The bloke then got shirty with me, offered £50 then £250 for the car! His son said he was sorry but his old man was adament he was not going to pay up. Thankfully for him he has changed his tune today. He has now said he will pay for the damage, even though he thinks the car is a POS. Drives me absolutly insane. Will post a pic of the damage when I can find the lead for the camera. At the end of the day it is only a car but I am still hacked off.

Cheers guys, the bloke will pay up now. It was his attitude that got to me.

I will get a couple of quotes then tidy it up until I can get all the body work sorted.

Make sure it's a proper quote too. If the bastard refuses to pay, tell him that you'll involve the insurance company and Plod as you think his son wasn't insured...

what i was gonna say.....

Maybe worth "asking the fuzz" for some advice? presumable the old man needs his license clean for his living so a bit of pressure may go a long way.

Try and get a top wack quote for the work, might as well have a really good job done as your not paying for it
