I'd personally go for glass ones TBH, and judgin by the quality of fit

i have just spent 6months looking for wings for a mk1, and i've just paid £160 per side for reproduction standard steel wings. express'd panels in keighly has a very limited number of them but only standard ones:wink:

There has been talk of Bevers auto panels in barnsley starting production again but then they stopped listing them on their website about 2months ago. Hadriens couldn't give me a date for when they'd be available again, they couldn't even give me a straight answer whether they'd ever be available again

Thats bubbles though he's on about Mex type 49 wings. Mine has one genuine Mexico wing that hasn't been welded on, though somehow they sprayed the car with it tacked on with self tapping screws That ones mint but the other side has an arch extension, no one else notices but it really grates on me as you can see the outline of the extesion panel if you look real close. I like steel though.
