There were loads of traders that I normally associate with Donno spares day at the Central RSOC Day at Santa Pod.

Problem was that the Donnington Show organisers had to change the date becuase of the SuperBikes bein gon the 1st, so some traders were double booked...

I went,bought some rear leaf spring shackles off a 2.8 i capri to go on my mk1.

Baulked at the price of a mint new mk1 wing at £550 notes and the seller said he had another one.

 

Not fookin suprized.

why did you sell em. they looked the nuts on your motor?

 

I know ! But needs must and all that . with the resto costing ££ i needed a cheaper solution to wheels and tyres . I would have needed a mk3 litre axle

and modify that so the rears would fit under the arch

 

It would have added another £500 that i aint got right now . So i have some

15 tyres and will go for 15 revos

There's 2 big posts about the show on Capripower mate, think it was Cashy who took the hundreds of piccies, have alook on there although I the only wheels I saw that would be what your after were x pack 7.5's 4 spokers which were polished with black inserts, think they were up for £650, there were also 7" 4 spokes polished with black inserts for just under £400.
