Converting Dynamo to Alternator

What do i need ??

 

What alternator do i need to hunt for and where do i get a mounting branket as i asume the one that the alternator comes with wont fit the capri and the one on the capri will only fit the dynamo

Kit is a 55amp Unipart Alternator, Block Bracket, Adjuster Arm, Belt, Bolts and instructions.

 

£107.50 delivered to your door.

 

 

Price includes VAT, Postage & the surcharge as they wont take a Dynamo for an Alternator.

Nope Sorry...

 

It took me and a mate a day and a half to sort the correct bracket, the correct adjuster and then the right spacers to ensure the belt runs true.

 

And then there was the wiring.....

 

 

All that too'ing and fro'ing to the factors, the Ford dealers and the garage takes time and has to be paid for and as we only make £15 per kit its taking a while for me to get my money back.
