rad and intercooler

im fitting a ybt into a mk2 escort and i have 2 queries,

1 - does it matter if the intercooler sits below the rad. im using a 3 dr rad and cooler

2 - i have a bigger gearbox tunnel but the clutch fork seems to be almost inside the car and the shifter sits very high, is this normal. is it just a case of reshaping the new tunnel

thought all intercoolers were too big to run underneath the rad or do u mean oilcooler? free bump any way

no its the intercooler i've made it fit below the rad
