Unauthorised Ad

I put my car up for sale on this board and it has now sold, then i get loads of phone calls from people asking if my car is still for sale as it has appeared in the Retro Ford Mag. i did not ask for it to go in there.

 

Who gave you the right to put the add in your mag? I certainly didn't and i'm damn annoyed that it went in without asking me 1st. It had better be remover so it doesn't appear in next months issue :evil: :evil:

Does a mag need permission to put pics/ad's of cars in their mag when its open for the public to see on a open forum or at a show for everyone to see?

If the image for the ad was not supplied to the mag then you need permission. I remember when we started Retro Cars and we needed adverts we had to ring around classified ads asking permission from the owners to put them in the first issue. It's good manners too.

I'm very sorry about that. Rest assured that it won't be in the next issue. All i can say is that it wasn't the usual person doing the Classifieds and they got a bit carried away.
