bmxdave Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 We had some mid engined Volvo buses a year or so ago from a different depot, doing the ferry runs after the docks kind of sung. They had the wrong engines in, which just happened to be rated at 240 bhp, not 120. They where so badly balanced weight wise that all you do is touch the kickdown and the back end slides everywhere. You couldnt hold a slide for long, but imagine a 12 tonne double decker bus getting sideways on a roundabout.
