just had a result... as my father in law was talking to some relatives in italy about his son in law's obsesion with mk1 escorts, they told him of one a distant relative had sitting in a garage . it turns out this car only has 30,000 miles from new , has never been painted/welded and has an original condition certificate from the italian classic car club ( i.e it is how it came out of the factory)its a 1970 940 or 950 cc 2 door in red and is totally mint.

now... my question is . as its lhd does it make a huge difference to the value ( over here)??? cos i just bought it and am having it shipped over in time for the classic ford meet at santa pod.

its not too hard to convert them to RHD...

 

Still fetch good money as the imports are usually more solid then the mullered ones over here!

£4000-£5000 if it's a solid minter , there was a mk2 left hooker in brown on ebay last week for £5000
