Retro Ford Track Day today

Probably the wrong place to post them, but thought it was the best place that everyone could see, here are my pictures from today.....

A really good evening out, slightly spoilt for me, I turned up in the job car at 12, and had a drive around saw Gordon Streeter doing some practice runs around the cirrcuit in his ex George Polley Anglia, this one has a 1496cc crossflow is pushing out 160bhp and is in a car that weighs 700kg

After spending some time talking to me, he said well if you like I will take you out in it!!! , so I promptly left work early and made my way back up there, I had to wait for 4 other people from his family and friends to go out in it. The last one was just going round when he goes off the circuit into the gravel trap!!, seems like he had burst a brake pipe, that connects onto the front caliper. After much head scratching, one couldn't be found and I missed out on what would have been the ride of a lifetime

had 8 laps round snetterton in it with streeter driving for 10 quid at a charity day.... goes like fook...
