Smudger105e Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 ah, the great passive smoking debate...... i dont believe theres any factual evidence that passive smoking short or long term can cause cacer, i stand to be corrected, but ive not heard of any direct connection thats been PROVEN. as for the smell, i can see your point, but OSFs smell too so does driving through the country,limeted slip diffs, going for a poo, and loads of other things so no problem there. Ask Mrs Roy Castle, she will tell you about lung cancer from passive smoking, Roy Castle was never a smoker... and the law says 'From 1st of July 2007 virtually all enclosed public places and workplaces in England will become smokefree.' that is enclosed, not in the street. Have to be 10 metres from doors and windows though...
X-pack-Glyn Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 Ask Mrs Roy Castle, she will tell you about lung cancer from passive smoking, Roy Castle was never a smoker... i know where your coming from BUT lung cancer can be caused by things other than smoking/passive smoking, i agree lung cancer is linked to smoking but i know people who have got lung cancer who never smoked iether. this thread is starting to look like a personal attack on smokers, so il think il take a step back now.
