scrouge2005 Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 hi...i was wondering wen i braught my mk1 escort shell i got the tags and the green part of the log book but not an actual v5 .. the tags are long gong probably in the bin wen i cleared garage at some point...is there anyway i can get a log book with the green slip????or would any1 b interested in it???

Onyx Dave Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 If you dont have a new style v5 or no v5 whats so ever you will probably be asked by VOSA to have a VIC check carried out at one of there testing stations across the country, this is to stop people ringing cars but also if your car is not so standard anymore they may say that they will have to do an SVA test on it and then they will give you a new reg number and depending on mods may not be tax free anymore as this happen to a friend of mine with his street rod!

And Aubone does not charge members for his time, only charges expenses if he incurrs any, and he usually doesn't ... Give him a ring!
