mk2 stu Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 ok just got a qoute for a prop from propshaft services in feltham, £138+vat for a single piece prop, type 9 to english axle. Can anyone shed light on wether thats a good price or not? seems pricey to me.

By the way, Burton power is cheaper but the place that balanced mine (JW Engineering) said that they get a lot of people bringing brand new prop's to be balanced from burtons. This is just what I have been told.

This is just what I have been told. Cheers mate, was hoping to pay around 120 quid, the length is too short for a standard rs2000 unit at 1235mm from face to face. Its just another in a long list of jobs to get done by the end of summer! wanna at least try and get it on the road this year even if i will miss all the shows!

I,m not sure if i'm going cf show yet, trying to convince the missus to take me up there in her mx-5! if i cant make it can you still take a cheque through the post?
