capriaddict Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Found this today while at work. I was collecting a skip and spotted it on next doors drive. Its a one owner 1300 sport, 55k ish miles. Apparently the original owner died and when the council started clearing his place out they found this in the garage. They phoned an auction bloke in exeter but he said its not worth my time here's the number of a friend who lives closer. So they phone matey up he goes and has a look and has the car. He say's he's going to MOT it and then sell it on. The car looks very solid just some light surface patches of rust on the roof and bonnet. I've left my number with him so fingers crossed he'll be in touch soon. What do you guys think? how much wpuld you pay for something like this?
Admin Vista Posted June 14, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 14, 2007 Hard to value something from a couple of pics mate, but 2 doors are attracting premiums and the 1300 sport (if that's what it is) is a pretty rare machine. I'd snap it up if I were you.
over_head_cam Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 1300 Sport? It's got to be bought Buy buy buy
capriaddict Posted June 14, 2007 Author Report Posted June 14, 2007 I'm gonna get it if i can!!!!!!!!!! Its also a consecutive number plate to richierich's car
Morley Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 Anything less than £2k is a bargain... 1300 Sports are rare these days and if it's solid it's potential rally fodder where they will spend £kks to get the right car
Richierich Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 No way! Thats crazy, must have come from Premier Garage in Minehead as well! Definately get it Andy! Then if you don't want it i'll have it! Consecutive numbers has gotta be pretty rare for a mk1 these days! What a find!
