Isle of Wight RSOC Show 23.9.07.

FAO mk2jo Red funnel ferries will give same discount as last year on a day return, car and 4 is £31 50 but you will need to show an RSOC mem. card and quote RSOC club CRSC 01 when booking. This is a discount of 12% they say and i'm not sure if they will check mem. cards so its a question of try and see. Also if you incounter someone on the end of the phone that knows nothing about any discount the name to mention is Chris Weaver as she is the lady that has fixed this deal, as she did last year.

We are still waiting for Wightlink to respond and as soon as they do i will let you know, and they normally give the discount to any car travelling to the show, not just RSOC members. Hope this helps, cheers Graham

 

Hello Graham - I phoned Wightlink yesterday and they knew nothing about the RSOC show and said for a representative to contact them asap to arrange something. I'm keen to get the hotel booked asap because it has been checked out as being okay for us to use and so all I'm waiting for is Wightlink. Can you chase them up for me?? Thanks

Okay everyone - I have now taken the plunge and booked the hotel We also have exclusive use of the hotel car park

 

I don't really want to advertise the name of the hotel here on the public forum so will PM you all when I have ferry prices etc

 

Budgie has taken a look and says it looks nice. It is within walking distance of the seaside, restaurants, pubs, promenade, shops and nightclub I will pay the deposit and I have provisionally booked 2 extra double rooms as well if anyone else wants to come along with their OSF

£36.50 PER CAR for the return ferry crossing

PLUS £25.00 PER PERSON for 1 night B & B

 

So ... if there are two of you in one car it's gonna cost you £43.25 PER PERSON or 1 person in 1 car will be £61.50 for the week-end plus entry to Robin Hill Country Park - not sure if Graham can wangle reduced entry fees for this ... Graham ????

 

I have now booked the hotel but I need definites for this please so that I don't waste my own money on reservations.

I will be expecting your payments for the ferry by Friday 17th August and a £10 deposit for the room. Balance for the room will be payable on the day. It has also been confirmed that we will have exclusive use of the hotel car park

I am going on holiday from 28th July to 11th Aug so won't be on here but if you could please bear in mind I will be asking for deposits and stuff when I get back. I have already paid a £75 deposit for the hotel so the rooms are secure
