ilovegrannys Posted June 20, 2007 Report Posted June 20, 2007 Started (well i tried) to start the granny. I have been yonder in other lands. I have new battery. So thats out of the window. She has a immobiliser. i dont know how old. I tried to jump her off my daily driver which started first time (jap) There is not a point on this tread really, just un f**king un happy. I am with the AA, but i can fix an OSF!! Maybe not today eh. I am really not sure how old the 'im' is. I will get the hammer on the starter again tomorrow. I need her for Powderham next month, i know its a while away, but i will be to until the 6th of July as i will be away in other lands. So time is short....Shall i bite the built and ring the AA??? How poor can that be...........
Burns Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 you saying your starter is sticking so you need to give it a smack to loosen it off? check you're getting enough current to it, mine had that problem and it was a loose cable
Admin Vista Posted June 21, 2007 Admin Report Posted June 21, 2007 Yeah, come on Chris give us a chance and tell us what's actually happening? Meanwhile deffo call the AA, what else do you pay a membership fee for?
ilovegrannys Posted June 21, 2007 Author Report Posted June 21, 2007 Sorry about the tread, i was slightly shit faced when i typed that. I am going to take the battery back to Halfords. It has a 3 yr war. I just need some good excuses.
escortmad79 Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 Flatspot on the starter motor? My plastic has one & if the flat spot is in the wrong place it won't start!
