xpackken Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 just bought a tickford kit today in exellent condition 250 quid so i am a happy man. i have never seen one on ebay before so i jumped at the chance . dont tell the girlfriend thou . and luckily enoghf ive got a nice little minter of a 2.8i special; sitting in the garage doing nothing , so its going to be a tickford replica . i am currently restoring project pearl as most will know. she,s getting painted next week in work so i think ill use her for a couple of months until the tickey is done . im going to keep my wheels so i got them photshoped on to a tickford i found on the net . what do ya think so mine will be like this it just wont be white im still not sure about a colour yet any ideas guys _________________ BMW 5 Series

Davecara Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 The heads saveable I reckon, getting it skimmed and compression tested tomorrow, 2 new vavles in pot 4 an, the aim is to get it running thursday and sell it the weekend after next There's a guy in Kent who's very interested, want to pay me before he's seen the car!! My other half just suggested red with stripes over the top? Similar to one in classic ford this month.
