Twinkle Posted July 2, 2007 Author Report Posted July 2, 2007 don't your neighbours complain about the noise, looking good mate one did a couple of months ago but that wa more of a grudge as i wouldnt sell some of my garden to her and the coucil were aware of it, the council officer basically said ffs how do these people think you can restore classic cars without makin a noise this was a one off im normally very considerate when i work on the cars and always keep an eye on the time, i only fire up the compressor when absolutley necesary.

Twinkle Posted July 2, 2007 Author Report Posted July 2, 2007 4 door mk2 escort, dont get too exited i have bought it with a couple of other members, its a scrapper but comes with two sets of suspension, 3 gearboxes, 2 mex steelies and other bits n bobs all for £80 oh and while we were there bought a car trailer for £20
orionmojo Posted July 2, 2007 Report Posted July 2, 2007 i like that got another question though , and wash my mouth out for even asking it, and not to jinx you.... but does no one have a go at your cars? i know brum's not the best area but i never get left alone with my two sheds, and they're blocked in and chained down literally. yours look like they're just parked on the road. i live about 50 yards from a police station m8 and i know every one of the coppers personally so i guess that helps still not sure what to do with the wheels as they arent really mine, they just got put on as the laser alloys were rough and i ran out of time to refurb them, i do have a set of 7j alleycats that maybe going on at some point. im undecided wether to go completly java or to leave as is or paint on the java green boss racing style stripes o i c fair play. i did just wonder, when you postd pics a few weeks back of the mk2 i thought you'd pushed it out of a nearby lockup, and today i saw it in the same posish

Twinkle Posted July 3, 2007 Author Report Posted July 3, 2007 top tip for gravel driveways is to lay sheets of marine ply and park the car on it, great for jacking, laying on and easy to find anything you drop
orionmojo Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 i've got 2 sheets of 6x4 been there and done that one many, many times
