Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 can anyone post a pic or explain in detail what type of wheel nut is needed for capri laser alloys as i believe the rs alloys have a distinctive nut is this the case with laser alloys too
Mr Sam Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 cone shaped for the lazers falt for the RS sure someone will back that up
Wessie Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 hmm its probably best to phone speed shack or rally design i dont know the exact sizes cos i've had a few to drink and i cant think straight
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 cone shaped for the lazers falt for the RS sure someone will back that up ive got the cone shaped ones with the washer thingy on (not flat washer) so maybe ok then will have to get a pic up
Mr Sam Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 slot them in the holes of the alloy see if there a snug fit
Guest cortinamad-gonetoo Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 they seem ok just want to be sure
Admin Vista Posted July 9, 2007 Admin Report Posted July 9, 2007 Laser alloys take a 60 degree taper nut, and if you're fitting them to a mk2 escort or mk2 / 3 capri you'll need an M12 thread.
luz008 Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 as above - you'll need m12x1.5 60' taper nuts for the mk2. have a look on ebay - you can get a set of 16 for £16 (cheapest anywhere as i bought some last week)
