Smudger105e Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 Irritating sod though. Q: sorry turbo ,but are you selling it as a 3 litre shell ?it is just that there are none of the 3 litre strengtherning panels under the bonnet, cheers vince 06-Jul-07A: Hi Vince, could I ask you to perform a simple task, and READ THE DESCRIPTION. Which CLEARLY states this to be a 1600 shell, which could easily be UPGRADED to 3 litre. (WHY OH WHY !!!) Regards, G. P.S. If you knew the differences of a 3 litre shell, you would know that NONE of them are present on THIS shell.
FlashCadillac Posted July 9, 2007 Author Report Posted July 9, 2007 he withdrew the item as there was an error with the starting price or reserve price when he quite clearly stated that there was a low reserve and a 99p starting price in his description basically he knew what he had and he withdrew it as it wasnt fetching what he wanted for it so the bit about the low reserve was bull sh*t
Cookie Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 Snotty arsed pr*cks like that do my head right in i must say Replies on an auction to questions in that tone mean i instantly aint dealing with a seller who got that kind of attitude, so maybe thats why there were no proper bids, people did'nt want to deal with him. And why the hell make a point of all the 'no reserve' 'low price' rubbish when you don't mean it, he probobly one of those people that think its gonna be worth £40k when done so the shell on its own must be worth £20k at least
V8ian Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 A friend of mine is building a Mk1 facelift from a NEW SHELL, which he bought a few years ago,
