after doing the college route myself (just finished a 3year course 2years ago)

 

I would go out and get round the garages to see if anyone will take you on as an apprentice on the proper scheme...

 

A mate who started on that the same time as me is about 10years ahead experience wise, as college mainly focus on the theory side.

 

I have to spend a year working in a garage to become fully qualified.

i did a 3yr aprenticeship at guildford collage. that was good they had pretty good workshops and loads of engines to play about with. plus they let you work on your own cars to

i just been at brooklands for 2 years and i have a m8 who was at guildford, he left and came to brooklands and he says theres such a big difference in workshop quality and lecturer knowledge

 

stay at brooklands they got the multi million pound new motorsport building opening in september :thumbsup:
