my wings are fiberglass, they woulda looked better if the guy had rivited them on and not used bolts, and if he hadn't painted them with a roller they would look just the same as steel from the outside, basically, if its done right they will look ace

do you feel like you are driving any less of a capri with glass wings :(

my car is so original id feel like a murderer for putting glass wings on it... then id end up doing the boot lid aswell

no not at all, and the size of the wings probably saves a fair bit of weight, plus NO ROTT!!! :thumbsup:

i am thinkin of a glass bonnet when i put a bigger block in, and then makin the power buldge a bit bigger

I think you just need to look at some of the escorts with glass wings mate, I know there are some hideous ones out there but just need to find a proven supplier :D

I was always a major doubter on fiberglass panels, but had only really taken note of the appaling fitting ones tbh, but seeing some of the scorts fitted up with them in last year or so I am converted and will be using glass on the tina.

As for originality, yes steel is better but at the end of the day if you can't afford it you can't afford it, better to srr her on the road wearing glass wings than rusting away waiting for steel ones.

Only my humle opinion mind :lol:

:thumbsup::D:D

yeah i know what you mean... its not like fitting glass doesnt mean i cant fit steel when i find some

Exactly :thumbsup:

And at least you can change just the wings without disturbing the rest of the rest when completed 8)
