ann_capri Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 well it that time of the year again when we get the kids 24/7 for 6 weeks ,i alway get half way through it and they start saying "im bored.theres nothing to do", but this time they are already moaning because of the weather as they cant go out , so they are arguing over who's playing what at home, and my youngest who is the only girl is the worst as the boys dont want to play any games with her , dose any-oneelse have the same thing and do you look forward to the 6 weeks holiday
orionmojo Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 we had that with my little sister my bro and i were playing the playstation most of the time, the poor rabbit and dog had about 200 weddings
ann_capri Posted July 25, 2007 Author Report Posted July 25, 2007 well she puts the cats in the dolly buggy and pushes them round the house
SidewaysBird Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 I've sent my daughter to the local playscheme for 4 weeks. She loves it and gets to run around and play all day!
ann_capri Posted July 25, 2007 Author Report Posted July 25, 2007 wish there was one here , but then it would cost to much to send my 4
Admin Mk2Jo Posted July 25, 2007 Admin Report Posted July 25, 2007 My two are at the local kids club too today and tomorrow held at the local school or leisure centre (Sweeny Ann - you get back up to 70% of the cost via tax credits if they are OFSTED registered). Friday am off with them. Saturday for two weeks I am taking them camping down in Dorset by the sea (yes, in a tent ). Then they are with their dad for two weeks after that Then for the last week they will be with my mum for two days, play scheme for two days and me for the last day of the hols .... so, it;'s not so bad for them (or me ). Ann .... I know you are on the border with Norfolk and here is their website http://www.esinet.norfolk.gov.uk/eysc/playschemes/ Cambs County Council website isn't running at the mo but if you rang them they should be able to tell you what's going on in or near March The kids love it
ann_capri Posted July 25, 2007 Author Report Posted July 25, 2007 thanks for that jo , will look into it, i know there looking forward to fordfair and im hopping lee will be taking a few days off, but have to ask him first , but i know what he's like, he'll spend most of the time on his mk1 capri , but hopefully next year i will be past my test and driving my car , the eldist is 16 and doing his own thing so have not counted him in this post ,the boys just want the weather to cheer up so they can play with there mate, ages 12,11,9, it my little girl who is 6, but thinks shes 16 who is the worst when its holiday time

Normally i look forward to the summer holidays but as the weather is awful i think this holiday i might turn to alcohol before the men in white coats come to get me !!!
ann_capri Posted July 25, 2007 Author Report Posted July 25, 2007 im glad im not the only one who feels like that , but do you find girls are alot older than they really are as mines 6 going on 16
Mrs O/H/C Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 OMG !!! all girls act as though they are ten years older !! been through it with the eldest.....now got the 6 year old to contend with because she has been there, done it,worn the t-shirt and generally knows best !!! GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEXT 6 WEEKS YOU MIGHT NEED IT.
