Mr Sam Posted October 16, 2006 Author Report Posted October 16, 2006 Good racing, very fast OSF's, shame about the queuing and on Sunday apparently someone had covered the track with anti-freeze on Saturday night which is why it took them until 11am to open the track - the clean up cost them £1000's apparently it was Norris Designs "snot green" Evo, must of been what kev hit when he got a little sideways on his last run , why couldnt they have sorted it out earlyer though im still waiting for these pics of me

V8ian Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Not forgetting the track was 2 hours late opening in the morning due to an antifreze spillage from the noght before, which took 4 hours to clear, Colsed the fire up road at 5oc, but the track had been shut again for 45mins while they tried to clear another antifreze spillage, gave up and ran the last hour on single lane runs only . Unfortunatly Santa Pod I feel is becoming a victim of its own success, far too many cars signed on on the Sunday many people only got 3 runs or were lucky and got 4,

steve dray Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 GUTTED!!! Drove hundreds of miles on saturday, cost me £100 and got ONE RUN! (No fault of OSF) Apart from shows, I think we should use SCR, even though it is further away for me, they were far more accomadating. Saw some great racing though, love all those MK1's................ and that MK2 Granada WOW !!!! Didn't see Mick Rogers there?? Think we need to get him on our site, he would be a great influence to OSF and the drag championship.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted October 16, 2006 Admin Report Posted October 16, 2006 We are meeting in January to decide on changes and rounds for next year ..... if you check out feedback shortly ... we will be asking for your opinions guys See here: http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... 557#265557
