Great mag and having seen Gary's Cosworth Cortina in the Flesh a few times I agree, it's gonna be hard to better!

 

I have one question though, whilst it was a great feature, I'm interested to know why you didn't reference the AVO owners club in the Mk1 RS2000 buyers guide?

 

Now I'm not in the slightest bit elitist and the SEOC have great cars & members too, but as a club wasn't it specifically set up to cater for non - RS escorts? Whatever your feelings on the AVO club are (love it or loathe it, and I accept that there are people who feel the latter) as an authority and source of info on Mk1 RS escorts the club is hard to beat. When I bought mine, I'd have been either lost or more than likely in a non genuine RS without some of it's friendly and helpful members
