Yep, why can't every country just get along with others. To much hatred in this world, and far to much in the countries themselves.

In the words of a great philosipher... Sir Sydney Youngblood:

"If only I could.... I'd make this world a better place!"

Massive CHOOOOON from 1989, and just about sums it all up I think  SHABBA!

It would be easier to say what i'm not into mate. Love pretty much everything... I have a very diverse taste in music. 60's soul to Drum & Bass, with a few from the late 50's, but I start from the 60's onwards.

What about you??? :D

I remember and love that song for two reasons

1) It was a great song

2) I was on the dance floor in a club in Exeter dancing to it with my mates little sister. It was then I noticed she wasn't little anymore, she was 18 with the most amazing hooters I'd ever seen, pulled her later that night and they became the most amazing hooters I'd ever groped too

Oh yeah and the Irish thing? I'm glad it's all over (another great 80's track) but do have one thought.

Regardless of what side of the sectarian divide they're from, all terrorists are criminals right? So how come they were all released from prison? As far as I'm concerned releasing a convicted terrorist before he/she has served the full sentence is tantamount to saying they're crimes weren't crimes at all! Not very comforting and certainly not justice for any of the victims of the IRA, PIRA, UDA, UVF or any other illegal gang of thugs masquerading as "freedom fighters"

If back in the 70's the people believed that what these gangs of armed thugs were doing was right, then they were as deluded as the terrorist that calls himself a freedom fighter. They were nothing more than poorly trained thugs, killers, drug dealers and lowlife and I personally cheered every time one of them was caught or killed, they should have been left in prison to rot and I do mean the terrorists from both sides of the religious divide. As they weren't, you have some of them as politicians!! It makes my blood boil to see Martin McGuiness (former leader of the PIRA)and Gerry Adams rubbing shoulders with legitimate politicians.

I think we cheered when those three IRA activists were gunned down by the SAS in Gibraltar. Shoot to kill? Damn straight! I don't remember any mercy given to the two young squaddies that were lynched at a funeral in March 1988, now they were both armed and could probably have given as good as they got but refrained from doing so.

I can understand anyone wanting the right to self government and rule, and achieved by peaceful and political means I would probably even have supported it. However none of their cause or complaint against the British government ever justified the killing of innocent people to achieve their aims.

I meant the terrorists thought they were right in what they were doing, which of course they wernt, I have freinds whos parents, uncles, aunts and cousins have been killed in the troubles and dont agree with any of it and i agree that our politicians are jokes, theyve just swapped the uniform for a suit
