mossy Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 well finished stripping the engine bay and removed the complete dash and wiring loom... then to find rust.....more rust! sometimes i really dont know why i bother with it...been trying to drill the wings off for ages, but its taking about 20-30mins per spot weld! so im just gonna grind them off. Also found out that i used the wrong primer so ive got to strip the whole shell again now! keep thinking about getting rid and buying a 'ready done' one like kev16v's shell.... Just seems never ending!

Another osf saved from the scapper! it was all fully running when i got it....just covered in about 3layers of filler and about 5layers of paint! that was 2years ago now when i got it! gotta get my arse in gear, got a compressor to do some work ready for when ive got enough money (anyone wanna lend me £2k?) to send it to retro!
