well finished stripping the engine bay and removed the complete dash and wiring loom...

then to find rust.....more rust! :sad: sometimes i really dont know why i bother with it...been trying to drill the wings off for ages, but its taking about 20-30mins per spot weld! so im just gonna grind them off. Also found out that i used the wrong primer so ive got to strip the whole shell again now! :(

keep thinking about getting rid and buying a 'ready done' one like kev16v's shell.... Just seems never ending!

Yeah we all get like that sometimes, U know it'll be worth it in the end! Another osf saved from the scapper! :D:thumbsup:

 

it was all fully running when i got it....just covered in about 3layers of filler and about 5layers of paint! :sad:

 

that was 2years ago now when i got it! :shock:

 

gotta get my arse in gear, got a compressor to do some work ready for when ive got enough money (anyone wanna lend me £2k?) to send it to retro!

chin up mate it will be worth it in the end,i am a bit miffed at the mo snapped throttle cable meant no blast out this week end,and no one does them well they do but at £18 :sad:

just been turned down for a £3k loan....apparantly thier computer says i cant afford the £100 a month payment..

theres people replacing entire floors and front ends

 

youl have those bits done in a few weeks :wink:
