dogdish Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Now you may know that i have a nice 1.6LS,but i am in 2 minds whether to modify it or not. There ain't many LS's left but i did buy it with the intention of doing an 80's Super Rod road going replica! Opinions please!!!
bomber1 Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 your car your decision m8. keep it as is then find a cheap shell to mod maybe. then u get the best of both
Copey Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 if its in a good condition now wait a while until the paint starts to go and when it does mod it then, or keep it all standard for a while wait until you get bored of it the way it is then mod it, but like Jason Harris said, its ur car and ur choice
sab6024 Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 I have a 1.6LS and I'm keeping it as I bought it. It came with the 2.8 half leather Recaros and 7 spokes but otherwise it's standard. Got a knackered cam in it so my brother is putting another 1600 motor in for me. That doesn't mean to say I don't wanna 'played' with Capri though. Get my one tidied up then onto Project Pink! The decision is yours though. Only you can decide how to spend your money!
lee_capri Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 id mod it me my-self mate but its your choice
brettp Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 my car started out as a 1.6 ls and it was slow and handled bad MODIFY IT !
bomber1 Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 u can mod the suspension which will make it handle without changing the car then drop a 2ltr in it as it will look right but look stock as well
