My OSF finally...or is it?

After a couple of false starts I finally have my OSF (or at least I have paid the deposit and will actually have it at the weekend.) It's a '53 Sit Up n Beg Pop with Rover V8 and Jag IRS, I'm chuffed with it as I nearly bought a Pop 18 years ago and didn't and it's always niggled me since and been at the back of my mind to get another.

 

However I was thinking today, is it really an OSF or not? I mean yeah it's a Ford, and yeah its Old, and it currently has a very 70's-80's feel to the interior...BUT does the fact it has a R*ver V8 as opposed to a Small Block Ford V8 or Cossie/Pinto/Zetec etc lump mean that in essence it isn't actually an OSF?

 

I hope it is as I have this forums friendly members and enthusiasm to thank for rekindling my dormant (but always there) interest in old Ford motors, and I don't wanna be a fraud
