sierra1off Posted April 7, 2008 Author Report Posted April 7, 2008 Tank, solenoids and wiring all done, just got to get a fuel supply. Has anyone teed off of the supply to the fuel rail, then a regulator down to 5psi for their NOS ( only 50 hp shot ), or even run 55psi to the nos solenoid ? Also thought about testing the pressure of petrol returning from the injection regulator and putting a tee in again with a 5psi regulator Failing all the above it will have to be another pump and line from the tank
sierra1off Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 fist time with NOS, 12.78, at the Pod on Sat. C.F weekend then backfire. and end of playing for the day, drove home Ok with no boost though
Mr Sam Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 so that must be what blew your bonnet grill thing off ?
sierra1off Posted June 1, 2008 Author Report Posted June 1, 2008 Yes Sam, thats all it was, but with the hose split, and no boost, there was no point running again, and anyway there was no racing for ages when the ambulance left site. I got to get a new pipe before the 11th, as going to Le Mans. Dont suppose anyone got a picture or video of my car on the track ??
sierra1off Posted August 18, 2008 Author Report Posted August 18, 2008 knocked out the big ends when in Le Mans, Low oil pressure and long burnouts dont mix !!! Needed another crank as my one was going to be oversize, Engine built, Had the block honed and the deck skimmed, new rings, shells, oil pump etc. Still all standard though My son painted the cam cover, looked the nuts till i put it up against the colour of the car. Opted for black with the writing colour coded.

30psi MK2 CORTINA Posted August 20, 2008 Report Posted August 20, 2008 Mate i love this car! It is one of my favourite anglias. the way you have styled the car and kept the clean lines but added the new school wheel size is exactly what id do The colour and black wheels are a perfect match. Your other little details like moving the dash bask etc show you are a real thinker and commited to doing a stellar job. I cant praise your work enough!
