flyingbanana Posted September 2, 2007 Author Report Posted September 2, 2007 this is the prob i have ...and its really annoying me that it wont line up pass side (not tp bad ) drivers side ( problem side ) and its butt up with the sill....its only this part is out ,i did replace the section by the headlight but it wont make a difference if it was out ideas people a possible way to sort this , or does people have the same problem with it aligning up
escortmad79 Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 Swage line is lower on the Mk2 estate wing as the bulkhead backwards is the same as the Mk1 estate, they're the same length as saloon ones. They maybe poorly manufactured pattern parts
flyingbanana Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 have you adjusted your bonnet?? thats already has far has it will go ive had another go at it...undid all the weld joins and got it the same distance has pass side,wouldnt go any further back......and the pass side was a new wing...so its better than it was

flyingbanana Posted September 4, 2007 Author Report Posted September 4, 2007 m8 dont take this the wrong way but i dont think the bonnet looks square to the car going by the panel gap between the bonnet and wing. not taken the wrong way ,the bonnet was only propped on at the time.......has it auto aligns up by the bonnet catch...the drivers wing is not has sharp edge has the new wing...but it fits alot better than the above pics after playing around with it today
