Ok, anyone else know of any that don't flake or at least are less prone to flaking?

Cermakromed manifold and stainless system, expensive but there isn't much else out there that'll do the job you're after.

I stuck halfrauds high temp brush on paint on my 125 exhaust and after god knows how many miles of thrashing it to death its still on there like I'd done it yesterday.

make sure its the brush on stuff cuz the spray on crap is pants.

I have replied to this a couple of times now,

and i have read the links of previous comments.

Yes i did use bbq paint on mine. It was in a spray

can made by hammerite. It stayed on, and i think

mine has got hot enough, as it has been to the pod

several times. The biggest problem is you need to

make sure that you have removed all the black

paint that comes on a new manifold when you

purchase it. As that is what makes it not stick, if you

just paint straight on top of it. It is easy to remove, just

a cloth and lots of thinners. Yes i agree that the chrome

ones do look nice but it depends on your budget.

Like i say, bbq paint does work, i can vouch for that.

Just get it back to bare metal, remove all product

fom the manufacturer, and you wont go wrong.

Just give it a quick key up with some light

grade sandpaper or some red scotchbrite.

Just remember it is like anything, if you buy

a good quality named product, you will get

better results. Like i say i used hammerites

version
