was talking to a guy today, about what ways to protect your car form being stolen, he told me the usual switches and what not, but id never thought of this, a line lock in the braking system, push the brake, turn the lock on and your car wont budge, so even if the turd wants to tow the car away they cant. what a cracking idea

Its a good idea but has a couple of drawbacks - siezed brakes and eventually continual pressure will finish off the seals in calipers, wheel cylinders and master cylinders. Maybe an acceptable price to pay.

 

I've still not come up with any great ideas to secure mine - nobody can start it but a determined thief will always get the car.
