I've had this for about 3 years. Family owned from new plus myself. It's mostly original exept for a small weld in the inner sill and bits of paint have been touched up.

It now needs both tank wells doing, the rear edge of both sills plus both wings and front panel.

Don't know what to do with it... I was firstly gonna get it MOT'd and sell the plate. Had that valued at £975. It spells SALLY. I've got 4 others on the go so this one won't get a look in for ages. If I had a spare garage, I'd lock it away and forget about it for a few more years and then maybe do something interesting with it.

It's a shame really, but it may end up on an ebay near you soon!!

that looks very original + worth doing up

don't sell it !! :(

I really don't want too sell. Even the thought of selling triggers feelings of regret! But it's sitting outside at the mo and could well be for the forseable future. Even with a cover over it- the great british weather will eventually work its way in. :?

I've got two Anglias+ two Mk1 Ecy's currently fighting for attention, so this one stands no chance... :(

How about you bring me £500 to the next meet and you can have the Escort and a free broken nose!

To be honest, if it was a nicer colour it'd probably be on the road now. Even a shade of beige or light blue would be more appealing. RS's looked good in those colours me thinks! However Laurel green must be one of the most nasty colours that Ford did. I did cosider sticking the cossie lump in to run it in before it goes in the Anglia. I've got some 2.8i billies and a slipper kicking about in the shed. A couple of weekends work and off we go! Would be a wicked sleeper
