This is My other car, a Midnight Blue Mk2 Escort 1.3 Popular Auto. Registered 1/5/79 on a T. Three owners from new all from the same family, 51k on the clock. Stored in my neighbours garage since late 1994 when the auto box went.

He decided he wanted it out of the way last month to turn his garage into a workshop so £100, a transit to drag it out of the garage, and three people pushing later, its now sitting on my lawn.

 

What a sad sight.

Time for the bucket and sponge.

One T-cut and polish later.

I havent seen that; still cant as i'm not a member. My mate paul Who is going to do the car up with me done it to check the market; 3k!? he is a scamp would have been well nice if someone had gone for it, alas it went to him for a grand 2days ago and bought me a vintage fender bass guitar yesterday. Its still sitting on my lawn tho

He now has a 711M type X-flow 1600 engine and box with short shift to go in soon.

We removed the seat covers today and revealed a mushroomy horror underneath, but a bit of a sponge down and they were really good underneath. can anyone reccommend a vinyl seat cleaner that makes them nice and shiny but not slippery?
