Mr Sam Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1978-FORD-CORTINA ... dZViewItem 5 miles from me, slightly tempted
FlashCadillac Posted September 24, 2007 Author Report Posted September 24, 2007 £100-300 i wouldnt pay a penny more unless it was stunning i guess you dont like them then i think they may be worth a bit more than that.... or i could be wrong
Mr Sam Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1982-FORD-CORTINA ... dZViewItem or this
FlashCadillac Posted September 24, 2007 Author Report Posted September 24, 2007 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1982-FORD-CORTINA-2-0-GL-RED-EXCELLENT-CONDITION_W0QQitemZ230173512097QQihZ013QQcategoryZ29755QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem or this yeah... thats the one i have my eye on... so... how much do we think its worth... so i can borrow the money
Rick Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 i dont think theyre quite old enough to fetch the good money yet, might be worth stocking up on them though for when they become fashionable again
Mr Sam Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 save them from the banger boys theres a gold one with 'banger' in the titel
FlashCadillac Posted September 24, 2007 Author Report Posted September 24, 2007 it'll do me.... cheap to insure... will tow a trailer and it'll do above 50 going uphill on a motorway (NEVER BUY A 1.0L FIESTA.... NO MATTER HOW CHEAP) pluss... if it comes to it... i can sleep in it
Rick Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 i think the original 2.3 v6 ones fetch the best dosh. but im no cortina boffin
Mr Sam Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 my fiestas a 1.1 will do alot more than 50 up a hill and ive slept in it on many occasions
bortaf Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 £500 for one with T&T, without i'd say £200 to £300 (racers are paying £150 to race em so you have to beat them, mind you the season is nearly over so prices will drop a bit for race cars) For the money a Mk4 is more retro then a Mk5 but for some strange reason still don't make the money they should
Burns Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 yeah, mine's a 1.1 and it does about 80 uphill on the motorway
FlashCadillac Posted September 25, 2007 Author Report Posted September 25, 2007 yeah, mine's a 1.1 and it does about 80 uphill on the motorway that 0.1L must make a difference... pluss im a fat b*stard
