Not a good pic but this RS was owned by an indian bloke called Ronnie back in 1990 he used to get to CC a lot, the bloke who had it when the pic was taken (87) sold it to fund a silver Harrier, had the stripes sprayed on with the base coat, that was in 90/91, typicly got no pics with the plate visable

This takes me back. I used to go up every month untill the stereos started taking over.I used to have a Maize Mk1 Mex another Mk1 Mex after that in bright red with black stripes and 4 cibies. I,ve tried posting pics but for some reason the site wont let me!?

I remember sitting in the queue waiting to get on to the roundabout by the petrol station. The Lotus Sunbeam in front of me seemed to be waiting when the cars in front of him had started moving. He was waiting for a big enough gap to open when he floored it and hit someone in the tunnel of people watching. Knob!

I also remember when i owned a Pro Street Mk2 Zodiac built by Nick Butler. I nailed it out of the park one night and snapped the rose joint on the end of the watts linkage. I had to rely on the arches to keep the axle in place all the way home to Weybridge,Surrey LOL

The first time I went to chelsea was after seeing a crude map in Custom Car mag, there were loads of cars loads of people, cars doing burnouts up the Kings Road , "General Grabber" tyres and cruising lights in abundance. It had a totally different feel to today and now I wish I had a fookin time machine  I MISS THE SEVENTIES

Accidents happened every time , the same as the knob in a Fiat Panda who rolled his mums car at heston after hitting an artic (that was parked )and the panda caught fire ,in his haste got a good hiding from the lorry driver and tried to make out his mums car had been nicked !!!
