lee_capri Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 last set i brought brand new £140 with the poleybush's matey,so i would'nt pay no more than £30 for second hand set as they are used

bomber1 Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 were you get the new ones caus i need some for a mk1 are u fitting them to a mk1 escort?
bomber1 Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 get escort springs then unless ur building a 4x4 escort
Mr Sam Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 yeah surely capper ones are longer and wider?
c1arke Posted October 5, 2007 Author Report Posted October 5, 2007 well my dad has bin pissing about with escorts since he was my age hes 39 now so not being rude but am listing to him i think its all rally suspension that's going on so i got the top end then i got something to add to
emu Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 Whats up with escort springs?? Unless your building a rally car then why do you want 'rally suspension'?
c1arke Posted October 5, 2007 Author Report Posted October 5, 2007 cause i want to go sideways from time 2 time and the standard is s**t its dangerous i all most trued it over
Messenjah Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 m8 not being funny with "rally" sspension you would be more likely to turn it over on the road you was it LOW and stiff to make it easy to chuck around without alot of body roll !
old skool freestyler Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 my cars is just lowered and it handles really well aint cappa rear springs gona jack the back up well high
tim Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 new 1 on me using capri srping even on rally cars, normally cd springs or away with leafs all togther and link it,cant see how the leaf spring will hve much affect on makin it turn over unless the spring is nackered and soft makin the rear end bounch about
escort21 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 The dampers are just as important as the springs...put proper adjustable dampers with a set of knackered springs means a lovely low but well handling car
bomber1 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 my mk1 has standard springs witth koni adjustables on the rear and sticks to floor like s### to a blanket
