Nettles Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 Did anyone else catch the first episode of the new series of Mark Evans Wreck Rescue? The series is showing on Discovery Real-time at 10:00pm and each episode is half an hour long. I watched the first episode on Tuesday about a 19 year old girl who’s trying to restore a 1959 MK1 Frog eye sprite and it was quite entertaining. One of the vehicles featured in the series is a 1972 MK1 Capri, so it’s got to be worth watching. Thought I'd post this up so all the OSF Capri nutters could watch it. Found a list of the episodes: Frog Eye part 1: 9th October 2007 Frog Eye part 2: 16th October 2007 Capri part 1: 23rd October 2007 Capri part 2: 30th October 2007 Elva 100 part 1: 6th November 2007 Elva 100 part 2: 13th November 2007 AEC matador part 1: 20th November 2007 AEC matador part 2: 27th November 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser part 1: 4th December 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser part 2: 11th December 2007
mk1mexico Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I cant stand the guy, doesnt know his arse from his elbow never mind how to build a car
Mick The Mig Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 Must admit he's too cheerful by half. But I think he's made a lot of people think if he can do it so can I. This can only result in more companies supporting the classic/kit car/restoration scene. Loved the E-type they had done by southern restorations. But £85,000 thats a lot of money.
Stu_B Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I saw a trailer for this with the white frogeye & yeloow mk1 capper, looked good but I have to admit I've watched that bloke in a few sky programmes & he is far too jolly!!

I like his programmes, his 'is Born' series were good viewing. Does Pete Mate still work with him?
